HEIC to JPEG Auto Converter (“the app”) is a macOS utility that watches folders you choose and converts HEIC and HEIF images to JPEG on your Mac. Its privacy story is short by design. The app is built to need almost nothing.

What we collect
Nothing. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Your files
All conversion happens entirely on your device. Your photos and files are never uploaded, copied off your Mac, or sent to us or any third party. The app only accesses the folders you explicitly grant it: reading HEIC and HEIF files and writing the converted JPEG next to the original.

Network
The app makes no network connections. It works fully offline.

Data sharing
Because no data is collected, none is shared, sold, or disclosed to anyone.

Children
The app is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
